A 'Future Deco' city was conceptualised by hand and built in 3D for Director Frank Miller. Gucci identified strongly with the visual language of '20s and '30s Art Deco design from jewelry through to architecture and this was employed as a springboard for generating hero building designs. The design of an elevated roadway structure was also part of the city brief. This virtual world was further refined, rendered, and lit by Fuel VFX combining live-action frames of cast and vehicles into a 3D cityscape. The Italian live-action shoot of vehicles, bar, and hotel room sees Art Direction and Set Design by Rosario Provenza and Marco Luppi.
